Our Rental Policies

Rental and Cancellation Policies

 

Booking Confirmation

Your rental and booking will be confirmed upon the receipt of your rental deposit, security deposit and signed rental agreement.

Your rental deposit will be equivalent to 50% of the full rental amount due. Your security deposit will be $50 per night (up to a maximum of $500) and will be refunded should there be no damages during your stay with us.

Once your deposit and signed agreement have been received, we will update our website to indicate that the property is not available to others. Final payment is due seven days before your check-in date unless we agree to other arrangements.


Cancellations

A Refund will be applied should COVID restriction impact your booking. This is based on certain circumstances and restrictions such as provincial bridge closing.

Payments made (including deposits) are refundable in the event of cancellation, PROVIDED that the property is subsequently rented for the period cancelled, less a $200 cancellation fee, otherwise, the Renter will receive no refund of any money paid for the Rental period.
 

Additional Policies

Security Deposit

Assuming there is no damage; your security deposit is fully refundable. It is used to cover the costs of any damages or losses to the property, buildings, content, equipment, furniture, appliances etc.  The deposit will be returned to you within two weeks of your departure.  Should the landlord find any damage beyond normal wear and tear, the costs to repair the damages will be charged against the security deposit, including cleaning or garbage removal costs, if any.  A copy of receipts for any such charges will be forwarded to you, in the event this situation occurs. Please note that your liability will be for the entire cost of the damages.

 

Cleaning Fee

You must leave the property in the same state of cleanliness and general condition that it was found in. Including laundering of all towels, bed sheets and linens used. Failure to do so to the satisfaction of the property owner will result in a minimum cleaning fee of $200 being applied against your security deposit.

 

Garbage

All garbage generated must be deposited in the black garbage box at the entrance to the property. Plastics, glass and paper is to be placed in the blue containers at the entrance to the property.

Garbage Pick-up in the municipality is every Monday and recycling is every second Wednesday.

 

Security Cameras

Security Cameras are installed in property buildings and will be turned off during your stay.

 

Smoking

Smoking is not permitted within any of the buildings on our properties.

 

Pets

Pets are not permitted without prior written agreement (extra cleaning fee will apply).  

 

Full terms and conditions

Full terms and conditions are contained in our standard rental agreement which you will be asked to sign and return to confirm your booking.

Check-in after: 3:00 p.m.

Check-out before: 12:00 p.m.

Parties and Events

We like to celebrate too but we ask that you respect neighbours. Please, no parties or large gatherings.You must be 25 or older to rent.

 

Damage and Incidentals

You will be responsible for all damages to the rental property caused by you or your party during your stay. A $50 per night (maximum $500) security deposit is required at the time of booking.

 

Respect the Environment

Please only use eco-friendly cleaning and washing products including soaps, shampoos, dishwashing soap, etc.
